Death In June is a British post-industrial / neofolk project founded in 1981 by Douglas Pearce after the breakup of the punk band Crisis.
The group became one of the defining acts of the neofolk movement, blending acoustic folk, industrial textures, martial rhythms, and dark ambient atmospheres.
Albums such as Nada!, Brown Book, The Wall Of Sacrifice, and But, What Ends When The Symbols Shatter? are considered landmarks of the post-industrial underground.
Over more than four decades, Death In June has maintained a cult following and a singular aesthetic that deeply influenced neofolk, dark folk, and experimental music.
